How to Distinguish between Hope and Wish?
Don’t say-> I hope I were an astronaut.
Say->I wish I were an astronaut.
Don’t say->I wish she is fine.
Say->I hope she is fine.
Hope: is used to express something very possible to happen.
Wish: is used to express something impossible (not likely) to happen. (Never use present simple tense for the clause after “wish” )
