IBPS PO Job Profile:
Among the many government jobs in India, IBPS PO is one of the most important dream jobs for the banking aspirants. The work profile of the IBPS PO includes the following;
- Dealing with the queries of customers of the branch.
- Maintenance and supervision of regular day-to-day branch activities.
- Public relations and addressing the issues and grievances of customers.
- To direct the daily transactions of customers and the processing of various loan details.
- To bring new businesses to the branch.
The probationary officer should know all the details about the implementation of the policies and important decisions made by the management. Generally, the probation period of the PO is 2 years. Also, it may vary for some banks. After the probation period, the PO is promoted as the Assistant manager.
IBPS PO 2019 Selection Procedure :
As per the IBPS PO 2019 official notification released by for recruitment of Probationary Officers, the recruitment will take place with the help of online examination and Group Exercise & Personal Interview.
- Online Preliminary Examination (Objective Test).
- Online Mains Examination (Objective Test).
- Phase III: Personal Interview Round
IBPS PO 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Interested and eligible candidates apply online for IBPS PO Exam 2019 need to fulfil the under-mentioned eligibility criteria.
IBPS Officer – Educational Qualification
Graduation Degree: The eligibility criteria for the IBPS CWE exam is as basic as a graduation degree (BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech or as such) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India. Any such candidate who has received equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government is also eligible to apply for this exam.
The candidates must be in possession of a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that certifies that they are a graduate on the day they registers for this exam, and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering for the IBPS Bank-PO examination.
Computer Literacy: Working knowledge of computer systems is necessary for the job as well as to give the IBPS PO exam which is conducted in online mode.
Language Proficiency: Verbal and written proficiency in official language of the State/UT is desirable. The candidate must be able to read, write and speak the language.
Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants:
A candidate applying for IBPS CWE/Bank PO Examination must be one of the following:
1. Citizen of India
2. Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement
4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire,Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India
Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favour.
IBPS PO – Category Wise Age Relaxation:
Any candidate who is applying for the IBPS CWE examination should not be less than 20 years oldand not more than 30 years old at the time of registration. In addition to this, there isage relaxation applicable to category wise candidates as per the government rules:
