LIC AAO Job Profile 2019
The role of the AAO is to regulate new schemes, coordinating with other departments, to give general assistance to the particular branch, interact with clients to make a better profit to the company and manage the claims and adjusting the settlements between clients and employees, with a probation period of one year, extendable up to 2 years.
LIC AAO Salary in Hand 2019
Basic pay of Rs. 17240/- per month in the scale of Rs. 17240- 840(14) –29000– 910(4) –32640 (Under Revision) and other admissible allowances as per rules. Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale inclusive of House Rent Allowance & City Compensatory Allowance wherever admissible depending upon the classification of the city will be approximately Rs 40,245/- per month in ‘A’ Class city.

LIC AAO Preliminary Exam Pattern
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination:
Preliminary Examination consisting of objective test will be conducted online. The test will have three sections
(with separate timings for each section) as follows:

Phase-II : Main Examination:
Main examination will consist of objective tests for 300 marks and descriptive test for 25 marks. Both the
objective and descriptive tests will be online. The objective test will have separate timing for every section.
Candidates will have to answer descriptive test by typing on the computer. Descriptive test will be
administered immediately after the completion of the objective test.

Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India
LIC ADO Age Limit: The age of candidate must not be less than 21 years and must not exceed 30 years

LIC ADO Job Profile & Salary in Hand 2019
Apprentice Development Officer Salary
An Apprentice Development Officer other than an Employee Apprentice shall be paid equal to the minimum of the basic pay and the dearness allowance thereon on the scale of pay applicable to Development Officers as on the date of commencement of the apprenticeship.
Stipend – ₹ 34,503/ per month (except in case of candidates selected from LIC Employees category)
Probationary Developement Officer Salary
Grade Pay – ₹ 21865-1340(2)-24545-1580(2)-27705-1610(17)-55075 plus allowances and other benefits as per rules in force.
On appointment as a Probationary Development Officer,
Basic pay – ₹ 21,865/- per month (except for Employee Category candidates) in the
Pay scale – 21865 -1340(2) – 24545 – 1580(2) – 27705 – 1610(17) – 55075 and other admissible allowances as per rules shall be payable.
Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale, inclusive of House Rent Allowance & City Compensatory Allowance wherever admissible depending upon the classification of city, will be approximately₹37,345/- in ‘A’ Class City.
Apprenticeship period – An Apprentice Development Officer will have to undergo Theoretical & Field Sales Training. The period of apprenticeship shall commence from the date of commencement of the training.
Probation – An Apprentice Development Officer, who successfully completes the apprenticeship and, in the opinion of the Recruiting Authority, is otherwise suitable for appointment to the service of the Corporation may be appointed as a Development Officer and placed on probation. The period of probation shall be for one year which may be extended up to two years.

Candidates need to complete any “Bachelor’s Degree” (10+2+13 Pattern) in any of the discipline from a well recognized Indian University/ Institution. For Ex-Servicemen: HSC (10+2+3 Pattern) at least 10 years service.

- Deal with Customer grievances.
- Processing and reviewing insurance documentation and ensuring all documents are complete.
- Managing Sales documents & other documents related policies, claims, settlements, accounts, etc.

Basic pay for LIC Assistant cadre will be Rs. 14435/- per month in the scale of Rs. 14435-840(1) – 15275-915(2) – 17105-1030(5) – 22255-1195(2) – 24645-1455(3) – 29010-1510(2) – 32030-1610(5) – 40080 and other admissible allowances as per rules.
