I’ve gone blank

->We use this expression to say that we can’t remember a piece of information or can’t decide what to write or say in a situation.

-Example 1
Who’s the leader of your country?
Oh no, I can’t remember. I’ve gone blank.
Don’t worry. I’m sure you’ll remember in a minute.

-Example 2
Why have you stopped writing?
I’m sorry, I’ve gone blank. I can’t think of anything to say.
Just write ‘Happy Birthday’ like everybody else.
