Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline with good academic records from well recognized University/ Institute. Hindi Type writing on Computer and Typing Skill in English language is desirable.

Selection Process of Non Technical and Technical Posts:
The Ministry of Railways and Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts written exam to fill various Non Technical and Technical posts. The tests are designed according to the educational standards required for the post. For some categories, written test may be followed by interview and for others a skill test or psychological test may also be conducted as required by the posts Job profile. All questions are multiple-choice objective type.
More than one written test may be conducted (Preliminary and mains exam) if the number of applicants is large. Written test includes questions on Arithmetical Aptitude, General responsiveness, and General English. Questions on logical and analytical reasoning will also be included in the examination. English will be the only mode of instruction for the Technical Cadre exam.
RRC Eligibility Criteria
Qualification Needed:
Candidates who wish to apply for Group D Posts they must have completed 10thStandard or ITI or equivalent qualification in concerned discipline with good academic records from well recognized Board / Institute.
Age Restriction:
Age of candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 33 years.

Final selection on desire post is based on the total marks obtained in written examination and interview, wherever provided, plus clearing Aptitude/ skill test/ vision test etc. as required. The appointment of selected candidate is subject to his passing requisite Medical Fitness Test conducted by the Railway Administration.Candidates applying for Railway Technical Cadre / Non Technical Cadre Exam and Group D posts must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions.
