Karnataka is the sixth largest state and has the 4th largest economy in India. The state is ranked 19th on the Human Development Index among Indian states. About University of Bangalore

BU is a public state university located in Mysore Road, Bangalore, Karnataka. The university was established in 1964 and is a part of AIU (Association of Indian Universities) and ACU (Association of Commonwealth Universities). This university was divided into 3 campuses, i.e., BU main campus, Bengaluru City University, and Bengaluru North University.

The main campus is named Gyana Bharathi Campus and houses the National Law School of India. NAAC has accredited this university with an A grade and has ranked 68th in the list of Indian Universities made by the NIRF.
