Uttar Pradesh Police has it’s headquarter in Allahabad. It is the largest police force in the entire world and was formed in the year 1863.The process to apply online for the posts of Constable, Bandi rakshak and Fireman will start from 1 November 2018 and the final selection will be concluded until the month of July 2019.

UP Police Recruitment – Age Limit
- Male candidates have to be in the age bracket of 18 to 22 years.
- Female candidates have to be in the age bracket of 18 to 25 years.
Candidates have to be of this age as on 01/07/2018
Note: Aspirants failing the eligibility criteria in 2018 will also be able to apply for the post of policemen. A statement by the government officials that the govt. claimed in Supreme Court that 30,000 vacancies for the post of constables will be announced every year but 2017 got deprived of any such claim. As a result of which aspirants qualifying the eligibility in 2017 but not in 2018 will be fairly accepted to apply for the same.
UP Police Recruitment – Application Fee
All candidates of all categories have to pay Rs.400 for this recruitment process. The application fee can be payed via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or through E Challan mode only.

Exam Pattern and Criteria: The written exam will carry maximum marks of 300 were negative marking is validated. The subjects included for the post of Policemen are General Knowledge, General Hindi, Quantitative Aptitude and General Intelligence & Reasoning. Qualified Candidates after passing the stage 1 will be called for Document Verification and on being eligible will have to go through Physical Endurance Test where standard bars will vary from male to female candidates.
