PSPCL 2019 – Selection Procedure
Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) selection will be based on Written Test & Interview. Candidates need to pay the Application Fees while sending their Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) Application Form of posts
PSPCL 2019 – Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
1. LDC Typist:
a) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution
b) Possesses at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands-on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office productivity application or Desktop Publishing application from a Govt. recognized institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001 certified
c) Possesses a Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of Department. Of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) of Govt. of India
2. Junior Engineer/Electrical
a). Full Time Regular 3/4 years Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics/ Computer Science/IT Engg. from an institute recognized by State/ Central Govt. with minimum 60% marks
b).Full Time Regular BE/ B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics/ Computer Science/IT Engg. with a minimum of 50 % marks or equivalent degree recognized by AICTE.
c).AMIE in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics/ Computer Science/IT Engg. with at least 50% marks from Institution of Engineers(India) Calcutta
3. Sub Station Attendant(SSA)
a). Full-time regular course in ITI /Electrical with minimum 60% marks and 2 years apprenticeship experience in PSEB now PSPCL.
b). Full-time Regular Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks
c).Full-time Regular Diploma in Electronics and communication with 60% marks.
d).Full-time Regular Diploma in Instrumentation and process control with 60% marks
Candidates should have a valid Mark-sheet / Degree:
A certificate which supports that they are graduates on the day they were registered for the exam.
The percentage of marks obtained in should be mentioned at the time of registration for the PSPCL examination.
Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computer operation is a must as the PSPCL exam is conducted online.
Language Proficiency: Qualification of Punjabi is essential for both posts: – For this purpose, all the candidates must have passed Punjabi of at least Matriculation or its equivalent level upto the date of document checking.
Note: Relaxable for Sikh Migrants upto the extent that they will have to acquire such qualification within two years after joining the service failing which their services shall be liable to the terminated.
Age Eligibility :
Candidates applying for the PSPCL examination should be of 18years old but not more than 37 years old at the time of registration. Besides this, there is age relaxation relevant to category wise candidates as per the government rules:As per Punjab Govt. notification G.S.R.20/Const./Art.309/Amd.(10)/2010 dated 24.05.2010, the age limit for eligibility for these posts will be 18 to 37 years and relaxation in age will be as per Govt. of Punjab instructions

How to apply for PSPCL Recruitment 2019 ?
| I. | Candidates should have a valid personal e-mail ID and mobile number. It should be kept active during the entire recruitment process. Registration number, password, and all other important communication will be sent on the same registered e-mail ID (please ensure that email sent to this mailbox is not redirected to your junk / spam folder). |
| II. | Candidates should take utmost care to furnish the correct details while filling in the on-line application. YOU CAN EDIT THE INFORMATION BEFORE SUBMISSION OF STEP-I and STEP-II. Once the form is submitted, it can’t be edited. |
| III. | The step by step process for submitting the application form for the Recruitment for various posts on regular basis is given below: Step-I: Sign-Up of Personal Details, and Contact details. Login Id and password will be sent to you through e-mail on registered e-Mail Id and contact number. Step-II: Login to complete the Personal Details, Qualification Details, Declaration. Step-III: The payment of Application Fee after 24 hours through Online mode via Debit card, Credit card or Internet banking through State Bank collect System of State Bank of India. |
| IV. | Application once submitted cannot be withdrawn and fee once paid will not be refunded in any case, neither shall be held reserved for any other recruitment nor selection process in future. |
| STEP-I Sign-Up | |
| a. | Candidates agreeing the terms & conditions may apply by clicking ‘I Agree’ Checkbox given below and pressing the ‘Start’ button. |
| b. | The candidate should fill up all the desired information i.e. Personal Details, Contact Detailsetc. correctly. |
| c. | Sign-up by filling-up Post applied, Name of applicant, Mobile No. and E-mail ID. After clicking SUBMIT button/ tab, the candidates will receive Application Sequence No (User ID) & Password on their E-mail ID. Now, candidate has to Click Log Out tab (given on top right corner) and re-log in for Step-II. On completion of Step-I, Sign- Up mail will be received in candidate’s registered email id and mobile number confirming his singed-up along with the User ID (application sequence No.) and password. |

| f | After uploading Photo and Signature images, Click on Pre-View tab and check whether particulars filled are correct in all respects. In case of any error, the same can be edited before finally clicking SUBMIT tab. Once Submit Tab is clicked then Application will be submitted and It will be showing on screen Your application has been successfully submitted. In addition, sms/e-mail shall also be received by the candidate. If Fee applicable the payment of Application Fee tab Make Payment active after 24 hours submitted application form. |
| STEP-III: On-line Fee Depositing process in State Bank of India (SBI) through SB Collect System | |
| I | Candidate needs to re-login and click the link/tab Make Online Payment active after minimum 24 hours of submission of the application. Once SB Collect of State Bank of India portal is opened, then DO NOT click Refresh or Back Button. |
| II | Steps to be followed in SB Collect portal for Online Payment:
After successful completion, the candidate can check the payment status in the online application, after a day of making payment |
| III | Candidates are advised to keep with them the copy of the e-receipt as a token of remittance of fee for future reference. |
| IV | After depositing the application fee through online mode, you may check the status of application form after 2 days. PSPCL 2019 Admit Card & Call Letter
Candidates can download the PSPCL admit card from the official website PSPCL because the hard copy of the PSPCL Admit Card will not be sent to the candidate via post. To login on the official website, the candidates will require the following:
- Registration No/Roll No
- Date of Birth/ Password
- The admit card will be made available in Oct 2019(Expected).
- The link to download the admit card will be provided on this page. Candidates are advised to check the details on the admit card before downloading.
PSPCL 2019 Results
The results of PSPCLwill be released after completion Examination. The Final Merit state wise and category wise List shall be prepared in descending order of the marks secured by the candidates in the Online Examination.
