  1. The Supreme Court on Wednesday said that the National Green Tribunal (NGT) cannot have benches comprising of a single judge.
  2. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that India is expected to register a growth rate of 7.2-7.5% in the second half of the current fiscal.
  3. Arun Jaitely said that this year’s Budget will focus on strengthening agriculture and the rural economy.
