Question Asked in Quantitative Aptitude – SEBI Grade A Prelims 2018

• Number Series Questions Asked In SEBI Grade A 
• Missing Number Series questions were asked.
• The questions were of Moderate level.
• Quadratic Equation / Inequality Questions Asked in SEBI Grade A
• DI Asked in SEBI Grade A Prelims
• A Tabular DI was asked.
• Another set of DI was based on double pie chart.
• Bar Graph-based DI was asked.
• A caselet DI was asked.
• The questions were slightly calculative but not very time taking.Simplification & Approximation 
  • This topic was quite scoring with 5 easy questions.
  • The questions were easy based on BODMAS rule.

Question Asked in English Language – SEBI Grade A Prelims 2018

• Reading Comprehension Questions Asked in SEBI Grade A 
• Two RCs were asked. One RC was related to Education and the other one was related to Small, Large and Medium Enterprises 
• 2 -2 vocabulary based questions were asked in each of the questions.
• Cloze Test Asked in SEBI Grade A 
• Question was of moderate level.
• A paragraph with 5 blanks was given which were required to fill with suitable options.
• Error Spotting and Error Correction Questions Asked in SEBI Grade A 
• Questions of old pattern error spotting were asked in which students need to identify the part of a sentence with an error.
• New pattern error spotting was also there in which there was a short paragraph with some parts of it marked as bold. The highlighted bold part was error free. The students have required to identify the error from the part that was not highlighted as bold.
• Fillers
• 6 questions were asked which were based on single fillers. A sentence was given with one blank in it.
• Students were required to choose the correct option to fill the blank appropriately.
• Questions were very easy.

• Seating Arrangement Questions Asked in SEBI Grade A Prelims 
• A Floor Based Puzzle with 2 variables was asked.
• A circular seating arrangement with 7 persons were asked in this Blood Relation parameter was also there.
• A linear seating arrangement with persons facing North and south direction was asked. There were 10 persons.
• Order & Ranking based Puzzle- arrangement of 6 ropes of varying lengths and different colours

Syllogism

• Old pattern and easy level questions were there.
• Questions were easily doable.
